NEURO STORIES AND ME
We’re pleased to share Neuro Stories and Me, an interactive storybook series created to help children make sense of neurodevelopmental conditions.
Rather than explaining things in clinical language, it uses characters and stories children can see themselves in, so that difference becomes something to understand rather than something to worry about.
It’s a useful starting point for parents, carers and teachers looking for a gentle way into the conversation — whether the child in question has a diagnosis themselves, or is trying to understand a sibling, classmate or friend.
BIO
Dr Susan Ozer is a multi-award-winning Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician with special interests in ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorder, developmental disorders and Psychology.
Dr Ozer is also an award-winning, best-selling author of neurodevelopmental-related books and CEO/founder of a mentoring and coaching registered Charity.
Dr Ozer has been a paediatrician for over 30 years (NHS and private).
Dr Ozer is a Level 8 Accredited Coach and Mentor.
